We are currently seeking an eCommerce On Figure Photographer who can be nice, will seek inspiration from our roots, can commit to achieving results the right way and loves to think big to join us on our journey.
The eCommerce On Figure Photographer will oversee the photo shoot process from conceptualization to capture and delivery of assets. In addition to supporting on-set production, this person will act as a key member of the Marketing team, working under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Creative and collaborating with pre
- and post
- production teams.

The eCommerce On Figure Photographer for Roots will be responsible for and evaluated on the following:

- Leading on set studio operations: collaborating with product stylists, production, and retouching partners to create compelling eCommerce imagery
- Setting up lighting and composition, ensuring products are represented accurately, and in line with brand guidelines
- Maintaining exposure and color accuracy standards while producing a high volume of images
- Creating and continually refining photography reference guides and set plans
- Managing the organization of digital files, ensuring integrity and accessibility for the team
- Maintaining photo equipment and cleanliness of the studio
- Collaborating with studio partners to review workflow processes, efficiencies and output
- A minimum of three years in a fast-paced commercial studio environment
- A strong awareness of contemporary trends in photography and fashion
- Ability to learn new processes and programs quickly
- A perfectionist eye for detail and color accuracy
- Demonstrated leadership experience and an ability to train and develop others
- A solution focused problem-solving and troubleshooting approach
- Time management skills and an ability to deliver to targets and deadlines
