Superb Group is growing We are a team-oriented professional landscaping company located in Guelph serving Kitchener/Waterloo and Cambridge. We offer a positive, safe, team-oriented working environment and are looking for a **full-time Landscape Maintenance Crew Lead Hand** to join our team. This is a **permanent, FULL-TIME** position and those available to stay with us into the winter months will be considered.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Team Support**: Act as the right hand to the Landscape Maintenance Crew Supervisor, assisting with leading and motivating the team to meet daily goals.
- **Task Execution**: Work alongside the crew to perform landscape maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, weeding, pruning, and general upkeep of properties.
- **Task Coordination**: Ensure crew members are on task and provide guidance or assistance as needed to maintain efficiency and quality.
- **Training Assistance**: Help train new crew members on landscaping techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
- **Quality Assurance**: Monitor the quality of work being completed and report any issues or improvements to the Crew Supervisor.
- **Equipment Use**: Operate and assist crew members in the use of lawn mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping tools and equipment.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safe and optimal operation.
- **Clean-Up**: Assist with site cleanup, debris removal, and ensuring work areas are tidy and safe.
- **Safety Protocols**: Follow and enforce all safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the Crew Supervisor and other team members to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and meet company standards.
- **Grass Cutting**: Operate lawn mowers and trimmers to maintain and achieve a neat appearance for lawns and grass areas.
- **Weeding**: Remove weeds from garden beds, lawns, and other landscaped areas using hand tools.
- **Pruning**: Trim and shape plants, shrubs, and small trees to promote healthy growth and maintain aesthetic appeal.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in landscape maintenance, with supervisory or leadership experience is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a team and foster a positive work environment.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
