We are searching for a drive and detail-oriented Content Creator to produce high-quality outputs for our business. The content creator will update existing material, generate novel work, and identify new ways to reach consumers. You should also contribute to the shaping on our stylistic guidelines.
To be a successful content creator, you should focus on appealing to consumers’ interests by creating engaging material. Ultimately, an exceptional content creator will promote collaboration between internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in our company’s outputs. You will be responsible for following our themes, creative briefs and inspiration accounts to market our brand story.
**Job Requirements**:
- 3-4 years of experience in creating strong, engaging, fun content. There will be an assessment.
- Must have access to a few dogs to include them in content and at least 1 dog of your own.
- Have a good understanding of SEO best practices.
- Demonstrate excellence in video, photos, writing, proofreading and editing.
- Demonstrate excellent research, organizational and time management skills.
- Must obtain strong listening and communication skills.
- The capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy.
- Part time time: starting out at 15 hours per week. Going forward we will assess to see if this is adequate time for marketing analysis and content creation.
- Must have a DSLR camera OR have the ability to make phone quality look really good.
- Responsible for creating the setting and aesthetics for photo/video shoots according to our brand theme.
- Must convey a sense of community with a social mindset.
- Must be creative enough to come up with our own trends.
**Job Activities**:
- Brainstorming and planning content with the team.
- Filming and editing content (majority of the time will be spent here).
- Creating graphic posts.
- Writing, reviewing, editing and updating content for website, blog, all social media platforms.
- Conducting research to learn more about current trends and contextualizing the findings to educate our consumers.
- Working alongside our backend marketing team/ external vendors for design of promotional materials.
- Collaborating with our team to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks and identify and solve problems.
- Set weekly goals for yourself and the team and meeting them accordingly.
- Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and reach consumers.
- Working closely with our marketing consultant to ensure production of quality, engaging and cohesive content, consistency on social media platform; 1 hour weekly meetings required.
