**Job Summary**
The Medical Equipment Technician at Scooter City plays a vital role in ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment used in healthcare settings. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is committed to providing high-quality service and support to healthcare professionals and patients. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

General mechanical acumen is a necessity for this position. Ideally, you have experience in automotive repair, scooter/wheelchair repair, and experience assembling hospital beds.

You also possess a good driving record as you will be driving one of the company's vehicles.

**Duties**
- Inspect, maintain, and repair a variety of medical equipment such as monitors, infusion pumps, and diagnostic devices.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and safely.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to understand equipment needs and provide training on proper usage.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and inventory of parts.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Assist in the installation of new medical equipment as needed.

- Excellent problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Attention to detail to ensure all repairs are completed accurately and safely.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards related to medical equipment is preferred.
- Basic computer skills for record keeping and reporting purposes.

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about healthcare technology and dedicated to improving patient care through reliable medical equipment management.

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
