**About the Opportunity**:
**Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities**:

- Regularly track, monitor and assess regulatory, federal and provincial developments relevant to Canada Guaranty and maintain up to date knowledge of industry best practices, new and emerging regulations to proactively assess their impact on the company.
- Conduct assessments related to the impact of regulatory developments on the business and provide compliance oversight on regulatory changes to ensure accurate and complete record management of end-to-end regulatory implementation.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions and reports, ensuring compliance with all filing deadlines.
- Assist in the implementation and maintaining of the company’s compliance management framework.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of internal policy management.
- Oversee and support the organization’s compliance with privacy laws and regulations.
- Support the company’s efforts in sound internal controls and effective governance practices, including providing corporate governance administrative support on internal governance committee meetings.

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education.
- 2-7 years of progressive experience in regulatory compliance, risk management or governance roles,
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance practices, procedures and principles, OSFI regulatory requirements, Federal and Provincial legislation and regulations.
- Experience supporting the development and maintenance of a Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) program.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated experience translating complex regulations into business actions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex regulatory concepts.
- Proven stakeholder management experience and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to achieve compliance objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal and compliance concepts effectively.
- Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities to meet multiple strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in a regulatory compliance, risk management or governance role within an OSFI regulated financial institution or financial services sector.
