Are you an experienced veterinary receptionist with a passion for providing top-notch customer service and a deep understanding of animal care? Our privately owned clinics in Victoria, BC, Fernwood and James Bay Vet, are looking for two full-time receptionists to join our fabulous teams and help us take the clinics to the next level.
- Utilize your in-depth knowledge of veterinary practices and procedures to assist clients in scheduling appointments, understanding treatment plans, and addressing their concerns.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients warmly, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience during their visits.
- Triaging incoming calls, prioritizing urgent cases and effectively directing calls to the appropriate team members.
- Mentor and support junior receptionists, sharing your expertise and contributing to their growth.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic databases with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure a seamless flow of patient care.
- Handle financial transactions, including invoicing, processing payments, and explaining billing details to clients.
- Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
- Handle client concerns and complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to better educate clients and support the clinic's growth.

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

- Veterinary Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
