**Job description**

We are looking for a Mechanical Assembler to help us build & test our Products. This position reports to the Electronics Technologist.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Assemble current production units while learning the product and existing manufacturing processes and internal electronics
- Perform mechanical assembly of finished units including subassemblies.
- Cutting, crimping, soldering wires and terminations of various switches, jacks, antennas etc.
- Load filament in 3D printer, unload and de-bur finished product
- Quality assurance, calibration, documentation of production units
- Maintain inventory of components and subassemblies
- Assist with shipping and receiving of units
- Ordering and procurement of parts
- Other tasks as directed by the Electronics Technologist

**Qualifications**:

- Soldering & board repair skills an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Familiar with IPC standards an asset
- Effective knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical skills, very organized, with keen attention to details
- Good verbal & written communications skills
- Highschool or GED.
- A self-starter - able to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple tasks concurrently - with flexibility to adjust to changing priorities

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
