**Fund Development Specialist (Hybrid)**

**Salary**: $43,466 - $59,706 annually

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, additional hours as needed.

Hospice Niagara is seeking a full-time, permanent, Fund Development Data Specialist with a knack for data, exceptional organizational skills and passion for fund development to join the team

As the Fund Development Specialist you will be responsible for updating our donor database (DonorPerfect) with all incoming donations, issuing tax receipts and, tracking and updating campaign specific results. The Fund Development Specialist also plans and coordinates donor communications such as thank you cards and coordinates special donor stewardship activities which includes working with a team of dedicated volunteers.

The Fund Development Specialist reports to the Manager of Fund Development and is an active member of the Marketing, Communications and Fund Development Team. In this role, you will also be a part of our events team and support in the planning process and on the day of at events, as needed, as such you will be required to work evenings and weekends from time to time.
- 3-5 years working with a donor database (DonorPerfect, Sumac or Raisers Edge)
- 3-5 years working in a non-profit organization
- Preparing and accurately issuing tax receipts
- Preparing and accurately analyzing data and reports
- Handling donor inquiries and requests
- Coordinating volunteers for large scale activities
- Supporting fundraising events
- Diploma in office administration, business administration, or related program, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Additional training in fund development, data management, special events (considered an asset)
