**Responsibilities**

1. Shipping
- Input shipping charges to released orders
- Create shipping labels from orders in JDH
- Determine which courier to use to maximize time efficiency and cost containment
- Count outgoing pieces to confirm correct number is shipped
- Create commercial invoices and Customs documents
- Prepare shipments for delivery (packing slips/completed paperwork/signage)
- Operate equipment such as pallet jack, pump truck, shrink wrapper, weigh scale, etc.
- Load skids onto truck, when necessary
- Provide stakeholders with accurate shipping quotes
- Process invoices and post payments (orders picked up by customers)
- Reconcile credit card transactions for accounting
- Maintain packing materials and inspect/communicate inventory levels

2. Receiving
- Receive direct shipments daily
- Assist with unloading of shipments when necessary
- Create LSI Lots
- Prepare skids for line loaders
- Operate equipment such as pallet jack, pump truck, cardboard baler, waste compactor, etc.
- Sort and weigh IT waste
- Identify product groups and manufacturers
- Verify incoming and outgoing unit counts and conditions

**Education & Skill Requirements**
- Minimum of 1 year shipping and/or receiving experience
- Warehousing/parts storage or fulfillment experience
- Experience operating equipment such as pallet jack, tape gun, shrink wrapper, RF scan gun, etc.
- Computer literate
- Previous vendor experience with UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL an asset
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, reach overhead, and consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong writing, measuring, data entry and mathematical skills

**Training**
- It will be necessary to participate in upgrading courses from time to time to keep abreast of changing policy, technology, and growth.

**Work Conditions**
- This position is based in the warehouse (high-speed, high-volume environment with interruptions/distractions)
- The position works next to motorized vehicles (forklifts) and mechanical equipment (scale, shrink wrapper, etc.).
- The position works under ambient noise from moving equipment, conveyor, machinery, and people.
- The position’s workstation has a desk, stool, computer, printer, shredder, and scanner.
- Safety shoes are required. Other PPE may be required.
