**Job Summary**:
The Shipper/ Receiver is responsible for helping ensure that all of the out-going packages are shipped on time, as per GDCAMS service level agreements ( SLAs). The Shipper is also responsible for maintaining the quality of work, and adhering to GDCAMS corporate security policies and procedures.
**Responsibilities**:

- Provide quick and reliable service for internal and external customer’s
- Work in accordance to GDCAMS procedures and policies
- Perform all data entry using Scancode
- Escalate any business or safety concerns to Leadhand / Supervisor when required
- Adhere to all GDCAMS Security policies and procedures
- Perform out-going shipments / quality inspections as per ISO - 9001 Shipping procedures
- Load and Unload transport trucks
- Perform daily Safety / Equipment inspections, such as Forklifts, Power Walkies
- Keep shipping area and work stations clean - general house keeping
- Provide idea’s/suggestion to Supervsior or Leadhand for process improvement opportunities
- Comply with G+D Environmental, Health & Safety policies, procedures and report any Environment, Health & Safety hazards, incidents and concerns to the immediate supervisor
- Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Leadhand, and or Supervisor that may not be listed above

***Qualifications, Experience and Educational Requirements**:

- High School Diploma would be asset or 1 year equivalent work experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize with good attention to detail
- Scancode processing knowledge and experience would be an asset
- Forklift certification / license would be an asset
- Overtime and Shift work may be required

**Physical Requirements**:

- Able to lift upto 50 lbs
- Able to work on feet for long periods at a time
