Powered by People (PBP) is looking for an exceptional VP of Finance who will drive finance effectiveness in a B2B global marketplace company, by establishing measurable processes to improve international business efficiency and determine growth goals across a fast growing business.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Partner with other members of the senior leadership team to execute the current corporate strategic plan, and develop future plans
- Serve as the key finance advisor to the CEO - acting as the strategic finance lead on company growth, corporate strategy and the day-to-day financial management of the organization
- Guide leadership through forecasting and planning cycles while improving budgeting and reporting processes
- Operate with significant autonomy and independence, showing high judgment in decisions that have financial, business, operational, or customer implications
- Analyze and interpret the impact of various funding strategies while working in the context of broader corporate goals
- Supervise and provide input on structuring, legal negotiation, and documentation with funding counter-parties alongside senior stakeholders in the business
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company's financial position, proactively identifying and communicating key revenue & cost drivers, opportunities for near
- and long-term cost optimization, and areas for risk mitigation
- Collaborate with leadership to set financial KPI targets, both at the company and departmental levels; track and communicate performance against those targets on an ongoing basis

**Requirements**:

- 10+ years in diversified leadership roles, driving and implementing financial systems
- 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience in eCommerce, FinanceTech and/or SaaS industry
- Masters degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Proven experience developing and executing business strategy
- History of decision making based on business metrics
- Ability to take initiative and ownership in a constantly-changing startup environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills; skilled at working with and managing remote teams
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders, with a proven track record of leadership and driving results
- Can-do attitude - PBP is a lean team and responsibilities may fall outside of this exact job description
