Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented VP of Finance to oversee financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting practices and a strong understanding of financial management. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, managing budgets, and providing strategic insights to support business growth.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Oversee budgeting processes, including forecasting and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct account reconciliations and perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or other relevant tools to streamline financial processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive business performance.
- Ensure timely reporting of financial data to management and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required.
- Proven experience as a VP of Finance, CFO, Financial Controller or similar role within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently when required.
- Effective communication skills for presenting financial information clearly to various stakeholders.
