Role:
Reporting to the National Development Manager, you will be responsible for onboarding participants and stewarding them throughout the fundraising cycle through phone calls and email communication.
Responsibilities:
- Re-engage past participants of the Walk, through phone calls and email communications
- Support participants fundraising efforts by utilizing the tools provided to them (ie. Participant's Centre, fundraising webinar, etc.)
- Steward participants through their fundraising for the Walk
- Build and foster relationships with participants
- Promote campaigns and events throughout the term
- Ability to respond to inbound calls and voicemails within a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, via phone & email
- Experience with fundraising and data management
- A critical thinker able to actively problem solve issues
- Passion for relationship building and volunteering
- Motivated, dependable, and trustworthy
- Email and phone accessibility and a moderate level of computer skills
- Knowledge of bladder cancer and Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer (personal or otherwise) is an asset but not necessary.
Training:
- BCC Volunteer Orientation
- Fundraising 101 Webinar
- 1:1 Role Training with National Development Manager
Time Commitment & Location:
- Work from home via Zoom, Teams &/or phone
- February-October (possibility to renew annually)
- 5-hours per week, flexible hours available
