**Language Required**: English (mandatory) **Hours per Week**: 35 hours **Work Type**: Remote - must be based in Canada (Eastern Time Zone preferred) **Contract Duration**: 3 months, with possibility of renewal **About the Role** - We are seeking a **highly skilled SAP VC Expert** to support the redesign of a key vehicle configuration feature on major automotive brand websites. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in SAP Variant Configuration and a solid understanding of the automotive industry.- **Required Skills & Technical Qualifications** - Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with SAP VC (Variant Configuration) - In-depth understanding of SAP VC modules, configuration logic, and BOM (Bill of Materials) structures - Experience designing and managing Configuration Profiles for complex products (e.g., vehicles) - Strong knowledge of characteristics, classes, and dependencies in SAP - Ability to manage component structures and BOMs based on vehicle configurations - Skilled in defining and configuring materials (e.g., model, color, engine, and other options) - Deep understanding of automotive industry processes, compliance requirements, and implementation best practices **Objectives & Deliverables** - Redesign and improve the "Build Your Own" feature on automotive brand websites - Enhance and streamline vehicle configuration using SAP VC data - Ensure performance, accuracy, and scalability of the new configuration solution **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze the current SAP VC configuration structure - Collaborate with UX, product, and development teams to define new vehicle configuration logic - Document all characteristics, dependencies, and configuration rules - Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and platforms - Participate in technical reviews, testing, and solution validation **Assets (Nice to Have)** - Previous experience on automotive configuration projects - Familiarity with e-commerce or digital product configurators - Strong attention to detail and a user-centered approach
