Emerald Park, Canada Sleep Inn Regina East Full time

The Sleep Inn Regina East is looking to fill our Full Time Maintenance Position. This position is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our 73 room hotel and pool facility.

This position reports to the General Manager & the Housekeeping Supervisors.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Performing general grounds including shoveling snow and spring/summer grounds keeping
- Maintaining pool cleanliness and preforming pool tests and filter maintenance
- Repairing items such as toilets and small drywall patching
- Performing routine maintenance such as changing out light bulbs, steam cleaning carpets
- Replacing fixtures such as sink taps or thermostats
- Replacing filters and checking on major equipment like hot water heaters
- Sweep, Mop, Scrub Floors and Stairs as required
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers
- Wash windows, interior walls & ceilings
- Coordinate with management when tradespersons for major repairs are required
- Install & trouble shoot door locks

Technical Requirements

Physical Requirements

This position requires an extensive level of physical exertion; frequent walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, extending reach, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying of up to 50+ pounds to complete assigned tasks. A considerable intensity of sensory effort is required.

Working Conditions

This position requires the individual to perform duties in an internal or external environment and may have exposure to changes in temperature and weather.

Pay: $18.00-$22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 44 per week
