Job Title: Security Officer - Personal Financial Business

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor the premises and ensure the safety and security of all employees and customers
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to security, safety, and loss prevention
- Perform regular checks of the physical premises, including doors, windows, and entry points, to ensure they are secure
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems, and respond to any alerts or alarms as necessary
- Maintain a log of all security-related incidents and prepare written reports as needed
- Conduct regular audits of cash and other valuables to prevent theft and fraud
- Work closely with law enforcement and other security personnel to prevent and respond to criminal activity
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanour at all times

Qualifications:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or education in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in security or law enforcement, with experience in a retail or financial services environment preferred
- Knowledge of security procedures and protocols, as well as familiarity with security equipment such as CCTV, alarms, and access control systems
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations, and to respond quickly and effectively to security-related incidents
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, customers, and law enforcement officials
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements:

- Physically Fit, Min 180 CM in height for this position
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach to access equipment and perform security checks
- Must have good visual acuity and hearing

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
