Building Cleaner

Regal Security Inc. is currently seeking a Part-Time Building Cleaner for the Mississauga Head Office, who will be responsible for cleaning the assigned areas and their fixtures and/or furnishings to maintain a safe, hygienic, and clean environment for head office staff.

Key responsibilities:

- Cleaning equipment surfaces, fixtures, desks/tables (boardrooms), gym and kitchen surfaces
- Laundering gym and kitchen linens
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all floors
- Refill supplies for building occupants to use (example: toilet paper, paper towels, soap, cleaning supplies, etc.)
- Washing interior windows, walls, and ceilings
- Dusting of the entire location
- Thorough cleaning and sanitization of the washrooms including mirrors, sinks, fixtures, and all handles
- Emptying and removal of all garbage, debris, and recycling from the building
- Maintaining cleanliness of the cafeteria and kitchens
- Maintaining exterior walkways with sweeping and salting
- Walking to the opposite side of the plaza to dispose of garbage
- All other duties as assigned.

Education, Qualifications, and Experience:

- High School Diploma
- WHMIS and MSDS certifications are considered an asset
- Minimum of 2 years of experience cleaning offices

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

- Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend over, crouch, and use ladders
- Self-motivated, able to work well independently
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to use stairs to access the main floor and second floor
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
