**Full Time Contract - One (1) Year**

**THE ROLE**:
Reporting to the Clinical Supervisor, the ABA Developmental Service Worker works directly with adults with an ASD and complex needs in 1:1 and group day program setting.

**Core Responsibilities**:
Facilitate high needs adult clients in 1:1 and group setting, the Developmental Service Worker will:

- Participate in the coordination of screening appointments with potential clients
- Assist in developing and facilitating group curriculum in consultation with the Clinical Supervisor
- Facilitate behaviour intervention plans in conjunction with Clinical Supervisor
- Monitor and document clients goals
- Provide daily living supports to clients when necessary (toileting support, feeding support, etc.)
- Implement crisis management techniques where necessary using Crisis Prevention and Intervention
- Ensure adequate materials are available and ready for each day
- Input client data in Salesforce
- Attend and participate in adult services meetings as scheduled
- Liaise with parents, caregivers, guardians
- Ensure overall health and safety of clients enrolled in the program by maintaining a sanitary and safe environment and identifying clients who are unwell.
- Post-secondary diploma from a recognized College in Behavioural Sciences, Applied Behaviour Analysis or other area of relevance
- Previous experience working with adults with ASD
- Sound knowledge of ABA principles
- Experience coaching parents/guardians
- Knowledge of a variety of data collection procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good judgement and problem solving skills
- Applied knowledge of community-based service delivery systems with demonstrated ability to work within the community
- Experience working with Behavioural Skills Training model to implement and monitor individualized ABA-based intervention programs for adults diagnosed with ASD and/or dual diagnoses an asset
- Satisfactory current Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check
- Proof of full vaccination against COVID-1
