At Vicwest, we are “Building for Tomorrow”. We are currently looking for **an SAP Business Analyst** at our Burlington, Ontario office.

As part of the Kingspan Group, Vicwest has an ambitious sustainability program revolving around the impact of building materials on the environment.

**Position Summary**

The incumbent will work closely with Vicwest functional groups including marketing, finance, and operations and will support business priorities aligned with the Business and IT groups.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Applies business requirements gathering and analysis techniques to develop quality business processes
- key point of contact and support for SAP end-users and functional teams
- Provides ongoing training and development of the Vicwest users for SAP and other technical skills and process adherence
- Facilitates communication between the business and technology areas to address business issues across single and multiple locations and with external project teams
- Diagnoses system processing issues and determines/implements corrective actions
- Translates business requirements into functional specific business processes, technical requirements, and system configuration settings
- Develops test plans, tests solutions and ensure sign off by power users before the system changes are moved to the production environment
- Maps out current processes to the desired state and identifies gaps, such as program functions, output and input requirements, data conversion strategies, and system techniques and controls
- Documents the detail design and configuration of business processes
- Ensures process documentation is maintained (e.g. policies, procedures, transaction documentation and job aids)
- Ensures adherence to program requirements and standards and to internal administration processes

**Education and Experience**
- 3-5 years’ experience in a progressive SAP Analyst role
- University or College degree in a related field
- Strong experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or above is required
- Experience in ABAP an asset
- Full cycle implementation project experience
- Understanding of systems and processes as related to business operations in manufacturing
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution business processes
