Join a local, family-run business dedicated to environmental sustainability and employee well-being. Regional Recycling is a high-volume, community-focused recycling facility with 9 locations across the Lower Mainland, Sea to Sky, and Vancouver Island.

We're currently looking for a **Part-Time 5-Ton Truck Driver** to join our team in **Whistler**. This role offers **20 hours per week**, with **additional 20 hours available for commercial sorting during peak seasons**.

You’ll be responsible for timely pickups in Whistler (with occasional trips to Squamish), ensuring safety and customer service excellence while supporting our goal of zero waste.

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR...**
- Minimum 1 year of experience driving a 5-ton truck (or similar vehicle)
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License with clean abstract
- Strong knowledge of Whistler and surrounding areas
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate a power tailgate and pallet jack
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using Android smartphones and completing paperwork (e.g., logbooks)
- Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious

**WHAT WILL YOU GET TO DO**:

- Operate a 5-ton truck to transport goods from designated locations, ensuring timely pickups.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their needs.
- Perform heavy lifting and loading/unloading of materials, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory, utilizing administrative skills for clerical tasks.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations and manage logistics effectively.
