**DESCRIPTION**:

**Role**

In collaboration with Librarians, Coordinators and other library staff assist in implementing programs, services and special events to promote use of the library branch. Actively collaborates with other Branch Supervisors and participates in various committees.

All duties are carried out adhering to Greater Victoria Public Library’s (GVPL) policies, procedures, standards and resources, and within provincial legislation and regulations, e.g. Workers’ Compensation Act, Human Rights Code, and collective agreement.

Wed Thurs Fri Sat Sun (when open) 9:00am - 5:00pm 9:00am - 5:00pm 9:00am - 5:00pm 9:00am - 5:00pm 12:45pm - 5:15pm
- _When Central Branch is open on Sunday (typically October to May each year) this position will be required to work each Sunday._
- _Evening and weekend work may be required_
