**Position Summary**

We are looking for a Controls & Automation Supervisor based at our Sterling Road Factory reporting into the Maintenance Manager. This role will be responsible for leadership of Sterling Road's Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and management of Electrical and Automation (E&A) infrastructure for operational activities and handover of CAPEX projects. You will approach your work with diligence and consideration of corporate guidelines and health & safety. It is important in this role to bring a continuous improvement mindset to all activities.

**A day in the life of a Controls & Automation Supervisor**

As a Controls & Automation Supervisor, you will:
**Excel in Industrialization**
- Collaborate in the execution of Automation Investments’ projects in the factory to ensure that the technical solution is compliant to corporate and market standards and is delivered with the expected quality and on time.
- Ensure automation projects meet user and technical specifications, coordinating the requirements of the end-users (production, quality, etc.) as key stakeholders to Engineering, collaborate in Automation & Electrical projects' factory-acceptance-tests (FATs), and facilitate knowledge transfer and training of maintenance crews.

**Manage existing assets**
- Ensure Process & Equipment safety for people, products and environment
- Participate in the implementation of safety compliance assessment tools at site level and in Maintenance & Improvement (M&I) activities in the factory
- Enable world class maintenance execution in Operations by providing asset maintenance according to the Nestlé Strategy (using TPM as the multi-disciplinary approach to maintain/improve fixed assets, and AMM to manage their life cycle).
- Provide effective support to the factory’s skilled trades team to attain necessary automation and controls skill set

**What will make you successful?**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical field, preferably in food manufacturing or consumer goods industry (as Engineering Supervisor, Maintenance Engineer, Technician, or other similar position)
- Demonstrated automation & controls competencies, preferably with electrical/software development experience
- Experience with personnel supervision
- Some experience in the development of technical projects as a part of multidisciplinary team and technical lead on projects related to automation.
- Providing technical support for the skilled trades where appropriate, obtain support from other stakeholders and 3rd party resources.
