We dairy you**Agropur is looking for an Automation Engineer to join is Don Mills team.The Automation Engineer is responsible for the plant-wide programming of automation and controls systems along with facilitating projects, assisting with troubleshooting, training technicians, and implementing new policies and procedures.**How Agropur invests in YOU:*** Recognition of years of service in calculating vacation time* Flexible group insurance plan, including telemedicine service* Employee assistance program* Opportunity to invest in you (Career Path, etc.)* Pension plan including employer contributions and more.* Salary range 005: 86 900$ to 108 600$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)**What’s involved in this role:**More specifically, the responsibilities of the Automation Engineer will be:* Responsible for all aspects of HMI’s including modifying existing graphics, creating new graphics based on an existing library of blocks, alarms, trends, backing up and restoring HMI projects, maintaining and troubleshooting industrial PC’s and touchscreens**.*** Configure and interface with many different types of field instruments with both Ethernet/IP and hardwired IO including VFDs, level sensors, flow meters, chart recorders, photo eye’s, temperature sensors, etc.* Troubleshoot and support Robotic cells.* Troubleshoot and maintain Ethernet networks as needed.* Troubleshoot and maintain various communication networks, DH+, ControlNet, DeviceNet, IO Link, etc.* Assist with equipment breakdown and problem solving to keep the plant running.* Troubleshoot and modify existing PLC and HMI programs.* Write new programs for PLCs, and HMIs.* Program VFDs, sensors, networks, chart recorders, and miscellaneous devices.* Manage and implement projects as assigned.* Train and develop team members.* Maintain process-related computers and systems.* Help with systems/structure for maintaining equipment and department documentation.* Help production with efficiencies, throughput, safety, and quality.* Work with management on new ideas or policies from concept to implementation.**What You Need to Join Our Team:*** Technical School Degree or bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or Automation) or another relevant discipline.* Minimum three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.* Dairy industry and project management experience preferred.* PLC/HMI and Drive programming knowledge required, with strong experience in Allen Bradley systems.* Robotics programming and troubleshooting experience, preferably with Fanuc robots.* Experience using CAD software required.* Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and field-specific software.* Ability to apply logic and structured methods to solve complex problems with effective solutions.***We dairy you JOIN AGROPUR.****#LI-MB1**#salarie**Agropur welcomes people from all backgrounds and origins.
