Allteck is seeking a **Traffic Control Supervisor** to join our Operations team This position has just opened up as a result of a long-term contract with one of our customers.
**Role**:
The **Traffic Control Supervisor** provides support to the Traffic Manager in various aspects pertaining to operations of the traffic control department. This includes permit requisitions, traffic control plan design, field level support for traffic control operations such as attending incidents, performing inspections, and training. Additional responsibilities will include dispatch relief and support as well as general office administrative support.
**Responsibilities**:
- Permit Requisitions for Allteck and CUC as requested
- Designing and submitting traffic management plans
- Preparing and submitting work permits for various municipalities
- Attending incidents & performing traffic control inspections
- Traffic Control dispatch relief and support
- Adhere to established company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as required, requested or assigned
**Education, Training and Experience**:
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years office experience in traffic control or related management field
- Knowledge of Utilities and/or Construction Industries considered an asset
**Skills and Abilities**:
- Strong focus with professional external and internal staff relations
- Proficient in MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Excellent and efficient detail oriented data entry skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, both verbal and written
- Able to represent our company in a professional manner
- Working knowledge of Invarion Launcher (Rapid Plan)
