Vice President of Delivery

At the highest level, the VP of Delivery is responsible for overseeing the delivery of work according to the contractual timelines, budgets and quality specifications for all data, privacy and governance projects globally. Working in conjunction with the Practice Directors of each discipline, you will drive consultant utilization, oversee resource and revenue forecasting and ensure the successful delivery of projects and solutions delivered by multi-disciplined teams. This requires both a focus on diligent day-to-day delivery management as well as a focus on longer term strategic operational efficiency based upon an agreed set of business and operational KPI’s. * Key Responsibilities* - The primary responsibility of the position is managing the delivery of multiple complex end to end data transformation projects across various clients. - Hands-on delivery management experience covering the full project initiation and life cycle, support solutioning and staffing, client management, delivery assurance and execution governance. Accountable for delivery from financial, sourcing, development and business perspectives & ability to stay “in the detail” with team’s work. - Run multiple delivery streams and clients, to ensure governance at top management level and conduct governance project meetings and identify successful and unsuccessful project factors and gaps. - Lead implementation of the solutions from establishing project requirements and goals to solution "go-live". - Manage customer expectations and relationship. Manage & develop partnerships with CXO level client relationships, looking for opportunities to up/cross-sell products and services through relationship management. - Work closely with multi-disciplined teams of product owners, analysts, engineers, scientists and quality assurance to drive estimates/SoW’s, delivery plans, and retrospectives. Identify and manage engagement risks and flag major issues early. - Hands-on management of delivery stream along with management & growth of a team of Technology Delivery Managers (future) - providing coaching, mentoring and development support to drive up delivery capability across the department. - Monitor and support leaders to achieve consultancy services KPIs (time to value, utilization targets, customer satisfaction, quality of delivery, etc) - Prepare the team to handle larger, more complex customer deployments in addition to maximizing efficiency for the low end, less complex deployments. - Act as the final escalation point for project escalations and provide expertise on defining recovery plans for consulting deliverables. - Align with Partner ecosystem to develop high quality, scalable service offerings that embrace our delivery methodology and enhance our delivery capacity **Skills Knowledge and Expertise** - Experience engaging delivery teams to identify and deliver solutions. Proven experience in driving scalable enterprise initiatives - Experience in leading digital programs is essential for example (Ecomm, data, UX) - Proven experience of hands-on managing delivery of an organization of 50+ FTE and or high business impact engagements of a similar size - Proven experience in driving large-scale transformational initiatives, ideally initiatives in large enterprises impacting both organizational and technological components of an organization - Experience with presales, contracting & management of Fixed Price type deliveries as well as Time & Materials agile programs - Experience in building and leading geographically distributed delivery teams, including definition of target operating model - Excellent communication, presentation, and planning skills are necessary, experience with working with nearshore teams preferable - Expected to have exceptional organization, leadership and stakeholder management skills - Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent business experience preferred - Self-motivated, results driven, flexible, multitasking, reliable to deliver on time, a quick-thinker, be able to work in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial work environment **Benefits** - Training and development for career growth - 25 Days Holiday, increasing with length of service - RRSP - Healthcare - Life Insurance - Flexible working **About Calligo** Calligo transforms data into businesses’ most lucrative asset.
