Grando Logistics Canada Inc. is a leading freight logistics company, with offices in both Vancouver, BC and Markham, ON.

We are currently looking for a data entry clerk for our Vancouver office. The data entry clerk will be responsible for inputting all shipment information into our company's shared data system, as well as supporting other members of the ocean import team with various administrative tasks.

**Duties include**:

- Sift through documents from oversea agents, customs agencies, and steamship line companies for relevant information
- Accurate and timely data entry into company's data system
- Gather accurate information from steamship line company websites
- Consolidate notes on each shipment for other members' easy access
- Obtain further information for documents that are deemed incomplete or inaccurate
- Categorize and keep track of invoices for payment

**Requirements**:

- Must have a high level of organization (dealing with large amounts of hardcopy and electronic documents)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is critical
- Proven typing accuracy and speed is also critical
- Detail-driven; ability to multi-task; can learn and adapt under pressure
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, and excellent computer skills
- Must have proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
- A second language in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus
- Previous experience in data entry, freight forwarding, and/or accounting is a plus (but not necessary)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $3,750.00 per month
