**Pioneer Development Corporation** is a Canadian Professional Services firm and Technology Consultant with specialist expertise in all aspects of planning, preparing, and defending Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax credit claims.

The primary job responsibility for the SR&ED Technology Consultant is to prepare Scientific Research and Experimental Development technical reports and work with clients collaboratively and conduct technical reviews throughout the year. This role includes:

- Evaluation of client projects and activities as they relate to the Scientific Research and Experimental Development tax incentive program.
- Collect and prepare technical support and substantiating documentation for the SR&ED claim.
- Conduct interviews with clients throughout the year
- Prepare the required technical reports

**Requirements**:
The SR&ED Technology Consultant should have the following qualifications:

- Must have a minimum of three year’s relevant industry experience and a university degree in one of the specified areas of expertise,
- Meet/Communicate with Clients to identify eligible R&D activities,
- prepare technical reports, including the technical objectives, state of knowledge and deviation from standard practice, and steps carried out in an experimental process
- Must have at least 2 years experience preparing SR&ED technical reports,
- Keen interest in and understanding of science, technology and manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to grasp new concepts.
- Familiarity with major industrial manufacturing processes,
- Must demonstrate excellent and advanced written and spoken English,
- Must have computer, reliable internet and ability to work from home in a dedicated office space.
