Role Overview As a Senior SR&ED (SRED) Consultant – IT, you will play a key role in delivering mandates related to SR&ED and other innovation-related tax credits and grants for clients operating in the Information Technology sector (software, SaaS, AI, gaming, data, cloud, etc.). You will work within a multidisciplinary team of STEM consultants and collaborate closely with clients to identify, structure, document, and defend claims across multiple funding programs at the federal and provincial levels. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys deep technical discussions, client-facing advisory work, and translating complex R&D activities into clear, defensible funding claims. Key Responsibilities Identify activities eligible for SR&ED (SRED), investment tax credits, and government grants through in-depth technical discussions with clients and internal teams Analyze and structure claims, including eligible expenditures and supporting documentation Draft technical narratives, financial support files, and required forms in collaboration with clients Support clients during CRA audits, reviews, and funding authority interactions Ensure compliance with program requirements and ABGi best practices Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives Participate in international collaborations with ABGi subsidiaries (USA, UK, France, Brazil) Required Qualifications Advanced Master’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field 1 to 5 years of experience as a SR&ED (SRED) consultant within a professional services or consulting environment Solid knowledge of SR&ED, investment tax credits, and innovation-related grants Ability to understand complex technological challenges and articulate them clearly in writing Prior experience in IT, software development, gaming, electronics, or engineering Excellent communication skills in English and French (written and verbal) Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills Comfortable conducting technical interviews with R&D teams and senior specialists Why Join ABGi Canada? 💼 Competitive compensation, based on experience 🩺 Comprehensive group insurance (medical & dental) 💰 Group RRSP with employer contribution 🚆 Partial public transit reimbursement 🌍 International, collaborative, and stimulating work environment 📈 Clear career progression and development opportunities 🚀 Exposure to a wide range of technologies, tax credits, and grant programs #J-18808-Ljbffr
