This person is primarily responsible for the delivery of operational training programs for fixed plant employees and contractors. You will provide advisory services and support and act as a primary contact for issues and problems related to fixed plant learning programs.

Minimum Requirements:

- Deep knowledge of fixed plant operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of ADDIE Model for instructional design: analyzes, designs, develops, implements and evaluates learning programs
- Facilitation and communication skills with the ability to deliver content to a group in an engaging, energetic manner
- A passion for process safety
- A minimum of 8 to 12 years of work experience, typically with a Bachelor's Degree in Education, business-related or technical field, or equivalent experience including a Journeyman Trade Certification or a certificate in Adult Education or Training

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides high-quality training, support, and guidance to field personnel
- Partners with clients to translate complex operational requirements into learning needs
- Identifies training gaps for business units and drafts recommendations for continuous improvement opportunities
- Leads special projects that require analytical, research, and leadership skills as well as professional judgment
- Creates complex or detailed documents that require considerable knowledge of specialized processes and procedures

Location and other Key Details:

- You will work out of a Syncrude location in Fort McMurray
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
