**Position Summary**:
The Summer Program Supervisor’s plan and implement fun-filled summer programs for children in Fort Saskatchewan. The City is looking for two (2), motivated and enthusiastic Summer Program Supervisors to lead a team of 6 staff and up to 24 volunteers.

**Responsibilities**:

- include but are not limited to:

- Planning and implementing summer programs with appropriate and age-related activities.
- Developing promotional materials for summer programs.
- Scheduling facilities and field trips and purchasing camp supplies and equipment.
- Communicating with parents, staff and volunteers.
- Training, supervising and completing mid and final performance evaluations for six summer camp leaders.
- Promoting, planning and implementing the training and LIT (Leaders in Training) program.
- Updating and maintaining the program procedure manual.
- Maintaining accurate records and producing an end of season program report as required by the Recreation Program Coordinator (i.e. first aid incidents, attendance records, budget reports, etc.).

**Qualifications**:
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday

Duration: May 5, 2025 to August 22, 2025
