**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Liaises and collaborates with clinical leaders and technical teams to analyze and audit existing processes and workflows; design improvements to systems and processes to meet clinician requirements and mitigate patient safety risks including developing, implementing, and reviewing processes to ensure seamless implementation. Represents the clinical and medical informatics group in various change governance meetings to prioritize change requests for a regional release queue.
- Coordinates the workload within the department and provides support to staff regarding problem solving to meet customer-service best practices and processes improvement standards. Develop strategies and capacity planning for meeting future needs.
- Leads medium - large projects, defining the scope & resource requirements, preparing plans, assisting with allocation of project budgets, supervising system testing, and monitoring timelines.
- Acting as a resource person and positive role model for change management, coaches staff on day-to-day performance. In collaboration with the manager, completes formal performance appraisals.
- Plans, develops, and delivers education sessions for staff (demos, one-to-one sessions, just in time teaching on the unit, e-learning and focus groups) to support the use of the Electronic Health Record systems, both for project implementation and operational purposes.
- Support Manager with recruiting, interviewing, and orientation of staff.
- Participate in Working Groups, Regional Committees and, Ad hoc groups, department meetings and huddles. Communicates and explains, practices, policies as it relates to the shared electronic health record system.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Manager or Director.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
- Five (5) years experience in a clinical informatics / electronic health record system analyst role
- Registered with appropriate governing body
- Experience in workflow and process redesign
- Experience coaching or leading team members.
- Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Commitment to continuing education related to position
**PREFERRED**:
- Relevant certifications such as Prosci Change Management Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP), or Business Analyst Certification
