We have an immediate need for Wiring Technicians located in Hamilton, Ontario. Permanent and Contract positions available.
- Excellent punctuality and attendance
- Good manual dexterity to terminate COAX and Ethernet wiring
- Ability to lift tools and packages - up to 50lbs
- Proficiency in operation of powered and manual hand tools including drills, screw drivers, etc.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify, report, and avoid safety hazards on the work site
- Ability to work productively, alone and as a member of a team.
- Able to work in non-heated or cooled construction sites for extended periods of time
- Ability to climb and operate ladders in a safe manner
- Good interpersonal skills to work with other team members and sub-trades
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Ontario Driver’s license
- Completion of fall arrest training (e-learning course to be provided by COMU)
- Completion of WHIMIS training (e-leaning course to be provided by COMU)
- CSA Approved steel toed safety boots
- Ability to pass developer run site safety training courses
- Experience working with Coax, Ethernet & Fibre wiring (an asset)

**Responsibilities**:

- Installation of wiring systems in new and retrofit construction sites
- Interfacing with management, support, and lead operations teams for maximum efficiency
- Keeping track of issued tools and equipment
- Communicating clearly with customers, builders, etc. on jobsites
- Security system installations

**Required education**:

- High school or equivalent

**Required license or certification**:
Valid Clean Driving Record & Background Check

**Pay**:

- Pay range is flexible based on experience and qualifications

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
