**Role Summary**

We are seeking a passionate Videographer/Editor in the Greater Toronto Area, who is open to regular travel, is detail-oriented and can work with us to creatively bring our client’s visions to life.

Reporting to the Creative Content Director, the Videographer/Editor is responsible for collaborating with internal team members and clients in a professional and organized manner. This role will include a split responsibility of capturing video and editing depending on various opportunities with clients. The Videographer/Editor would be expected to coordinate their schedule in conjunction with clients and the Strivergy team., deliver edited, high caliber assets on time, turn around edits promptly as requested and innovate for ongoing trend adoption. With the exception of in-person filming sessions, this position is remotely based.

**Core Functions & Duties**
- Setting up and tearing down production sets in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to follow timelines and prioritise accordingly
- Collaborate with other roles and departments to achieve results
- Ensure brand consistency across clients using brand guidelines for each client
- Report progress to senior management and seek support when needed
- Support clients’ vision and requests
- Ability to be agile with timelines, general responsibilities and instructions
- Reformat and repurpose existing video content
- Maintaining creativity and quality in an efficient manner
- Ability to be coached and have a strong desire to learn

**Technical Requirements**
- Perfect written English - creative and accurate
- Proficient with editing software Premiere Pro (Experience with Davinci Resolve, Photoshop, Canva and After Effects is a bonus)
- 2+ years of relevant experience in digital content creation
- A passion for storytelling, including a sharp sense of what makes a story engaging and shareable with respect to the format (Vertical format, Vlog style, Commercials, Cinematic Edits etc.)
- Ability to understand and adapt to the demands of different client industries
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain organised in fast-paced environments using project management softwares provided
- An up-to-date understanding of video marketing (trends, technology etc.)
- Proven portfolio of content creation demonstrating a substantial skill set in Cinematography, Storytelling and Video Editing

**Job Type**: 32 hours per week, Freelance

**Salary**: From $22.50 per hour
