Company Description We, ORCAFY are a Canadian social media marketing agency working with multiple clients across various industries. Overview We are seeking a creative, reliable, and skilled Freelance Videographer to shoot and deliver high-quality video content for a variety of projects. VIDEO SHOOT - VIDEOGRAPHER RESPONSIBILITY: Must have experience in food & restaurant (F&B) industry shoots Ability to shoot per the provided samples and customize based on client preferences Experience with Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts Worked with social media video content agencies (a plus) Skilled in lighting food shots with multiple angles Proficient in using DJI gimbal for smooth shots Strong client communication on shoot days Capable of planning, brainstorming, and ideating pre-shoot Mark and organize shot files for editors, uploading to Google Drive immediately after shoot Must have a car and be flexible to travel across GTA Flexible with shoot hours, including late nights for events Experience handling equipment and packing up after shoots Having your own equipment is a plus Provide clear directions to editors on shoot outcomes and expectations Able to use drones when required EDITING - VIDEO EDITOR (When Required): Edit short and long-form videos for Instagram Reels & YouTube Shorts Knowledge of color grading, transitions, sound, effects, and text placement Use AI tools to enhance video edits and motion graphics Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve; CapCut experience a plus Ability to follow editing instructions and guidelines Edit thumbnails and work on motion graphics or animated explainer videos Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Previous marketing agency work is a plus Requirements : Proven experience as a videographer or video editor (portfolio required) especially in the food industry. Proficiency in video editing software and equipment. Strong storytelling skills and creative vision. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work on various types of projects, often under tight deadlines. Access to professional-grade equipment (camera, lighting, sound, etc.). (Optional) Experience with drone videography, motion graphics, or animation.
