FSQA Corporate Manager maintains and handles corporate Food Safety & Quality department planning, implementing, and evaluating policies, programs, and practices as per the regulatory requirements.

**Position Responsibilities**:
1. Responsible for corporate Food Safety & Quality department functions.

2. Responsible to ensure adequate resources are available to achieve food safety objectives and support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF System.

4. Collaborate with the upper management team to set quality benchmarks.

5. Participate in weekly and monthly meetings with Food Safety & Quality Consultant and team.

6. Responsible for document control within the SQF / Food Safety & Quality system and implementation in our facilities.

7. Conducting internal audits and supervising all SQF / Food Safety & Quality certifications and recertifications.

8. Responsible to implement a performance management process for quality department employees which includes monitoring the performance on an ongoing basis and conducting an annual performance review.

9. Lead the Research and Development projects and other projects when it need arise.

10. Handle customer complaint investigations, resolution and tracking for corporate.

11. Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and other for business and / or departmental needs with respect to quality and food safety requirements.

12. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending to educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and participating in professional societies.

13. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

**Employment Qualification and Requirements**:
1. 5-10 years of experience managing Food Safety & Quality Department or equivalent decision making position.

2. Knowledge of Food Safety Practices, Safety Programs and HACCP.

3. HACCP, PCQI and SQF Certified required.

4. Internal Auditor Certified required.

5. Knowledge of General Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).

6. Knowledge of labeling and nutritional contents as it pertains to FDA and USDA.

7. Business travel is required 25% - most local but travel to Western Canada is also required
