Are you a dog lover? Do you love the outdoors? Come join our team as a professional dog walker at Waggy Walks Ottawa.

**Responsibilities**:

- Pick up and drop off dogs using designated route
- Walk dogs at a fully enclosed private dog park for 60 minutes
- Provide exercise and mental stimulation for dogs during walks
- Follow specific instructions provided by dog owners regarding their pets' needs and preferences
- Clean up after dogs during walks and properly dispose of waste
- Report any unusual behavior or health concerns observed during walks to the dog owners

**Requirements**:

- Reliable transportation to travel safely **(Must be able to accommodate minimum of 6 dogs in your vehicle. SUV or van most appropriate)**:

- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments (no aggressive dogs)
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with dog owners in a professional and friendly manner

**Other info**:

- 8am start time in Glebe. Final drop off is typically 11:30am. **_**Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday only. **_**Can lead to more hours if mutually agreed upon.**
- 2 weeks vacation (partially paid)
- Simple car maintenance (tire swapping and oil change) free
- Week off during Christmas week
- Optional additional opportunities (boarding client’s dogs)
- Approx 75km round trip per day

**Pay rate**:
Paid per dog + daily gas compensation. Depending on the amount of dogs your vehicle can comfortably accommodate, it works out to be **$19-$27/hour + $20 gas comp.**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 12 per week
