**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Teach acting techniques, including improvisation, scene study, monologue preparation, and character development.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their performance and confidence.
- Prepare and guide students for auditions and performances.
- Stay updated with industry trends and integrate them into the curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff on special projects, workshops, and showcases.
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts, or a related field ( preferred), or equivalent experince
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an actor or acting instructor.
- Strong understanding of various acting methods (Stanislavski, Meisner, Method, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of different ages and backgrounds.
- Experience with virtual teaching is a plus.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Professional acting credits in film & television.
- Experience working with young actors or beginners.
- Knowledge of audition techniques and the casting process.
- Ability to provide mentorship and career guidance.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC V6Z 1B3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
