Job Title: Network Management Instructor

We prefer Applicants to have experience in the following areas.
- System Administration and IT Infrastructure Management Computer Network Design, Architecture
- Security Vulnerability Assessment Penetration Testing Cybersecurity Cloud Computing Operating Systems Project Management

Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Utilize industry knowledge to teach and engage students using a diverse and systematic plan of lectures, presentations, demonstrations, discussion groups, laboratory work, shop sessions, seminars, case studies, and independent or group projects.
- Prepares teaching materials, including audio-visual and web-related materials, where appropriate.
- Prepares, administers, and marks papers, tests, exams, and other assessments to monitor and evaluate students’ progress.
- Maintain effective control and administration of classroom facilities, equipment, materials, software, and tools.
- Adhere to Eton College policies and procedures, including being available to students, and maintaining confidentiality of students and information.
- The instructor must create a positive learning environment by consistently demonstrating preparedness for class, by motivating students to accomplish educational and personal goals and by providing the opportunity to receive and act on student feedback.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Certificate in Information Technology and Applied Systems
- Diploma in Information Technology
- A bachelor’s degree preferred, in a related technical field.
- Minimum three years of current and relevant industry and teaching experience
- Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Teaching experience in a industry certifications are an asset (e.g., MCITP, CCNP, CCNA, CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+)
- Experience teaching in an online environment is preferred.
- BC Provincial Instructors diploma applicants will be considered as well.

Wage: 25.00 Hourly to $28.00 Hourly

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
