**Job Description**:
**THE ROLE**

We are looking for a curious and enthusiastic Generalist to join our team.

The **Human Resources Generalist** will provide front-line service to employees and Managers, support to colleagues in the department, manage all Health & Safety activities and ensure that human resources initiatives are communicated throughout the Company.

**THE CHALLENGE**
- Provide front-line service to employees and Managers with questions about HR policies, procedures, programs and practices.
- o Handle all Health and Safety initiatives, including work related accident and medical files
- Promote and communicate HR initiatives to Head Office and store employees.
- Keeps current with Employment Standards (ESA) and makes recommendations for company policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Take initiatives and propose solutions to optimize and facilitate the various tasks of the daily work.
- Work closely with HRBPs on various projects, including the development and promotion of our employer brand and employee value proposition.
- Plan and coordinate meetings and corporate events related to human resources, recognition and mobilization activities.
- Manage Company programs including recognition, social responsibility, training and OQLF.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial relations, management or a related field of study
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to create and build partnerships internally and externally
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on several projects simultaneously
- Creative, proactive, autonomous, accountable, flexible, curious, positive and solution-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills
- Proficient in English and French, both oral and written
- Strong knowledge of the Office Suite and knowledge of Dayforce will be considered an asset
- A Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation is an asset.
