Due to our growth and continued success, we’re now looking for a Business Analyst to join our Channel Services team. Working on a diverse complement of projects and you will be a key member of the Channel delivery team. You will collaborate with other team members to identify and solve problems. You will thrive in a multi-task environment where you can quickly transition between projects. Given the location of our clients, and the remote nature of the work required, we are flexible on location.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for:
- Work with external and internal resources to gather and validate requirements, business process work-flows, testing requirements, end user procedures, communication plans and training packages;
- Facilitate workshops/client meetings, and define/validate functional requirements and key business process flows;
- Ensure understanding of client requirements, providing recommendations, offering/proposing solutions, as well as creating functional documentation to ensure high end client satisfaction;
- Liaise with the development team and provide assistance when required;
- Manage multiple deadlines and milestones to identify and define known problems and assist with solution alternatives;
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders to coordinate the most ideal and appropriate solution to custom requirements;
- Monitor progress and report status updates to the Delivery Manager; and
- Participate in pre-sales activities, as well as other project meetings to collaborate on deliverables with other experts.
- University degree or college diploma in a related field;
- 5 plus years’ experience in a similar role, with a focus on requirements and processes;
- Experience in a technical programming environment would be considered an asset;
- Organized and analytical, with attention to detail;
- Knowledge of the SDLC and software development tools;
- Ability to accurately handle a high volume of tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent communication skills combined with superior ability to work as a part of a team;
- Experience with ERP solutions, cloud accounting or other back-office systems would be considered an asset; and
- Experience and a good understanding of working with various API’s and web services would be considered an asset;
