**Position Summary**
Lisi Aerospace is in search of multiple General Operators. The General Operator will operate single or multiple types of machines equipped with manual or automatic indexing and feeding mechanisms.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Study blueprints, work order, or machining instructions to determine product dimensions, tooling, and to plan operational sequence.
- Observe and adjust machine operation.
- Deliver the required number of finished pieces according to production schedules.
- Select tooling to be used in machine operation
- Inspect or measure workpiece, using measuring instruments.
- Perform any other duties as required by management, in line with qualifications and experience.
**Required Skills and Abilities**
Education and/or Experience
- Ability to speak, read and understand basic English and French.
- Ability to understand oral and written directives.
**Physical Demands and Work Environment**
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.
- The employee is frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud in certain area which is needed ear protection. This is supplied by Lisi.
**HSE**
Employees are required to comply with the company and governmental health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and procedures; they must wear personal protection equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, hearing protection, or proper footwear. All items are supplied by Lisi once a year.
