**Job Summary**:
The Marketing and Sales Assistant will support the Business Development team in executing various tasks aimed at growing brand awareness, generating leads, and assisting with client relationships. This role requires a combination of creative marketing activities, administrative support, and proactive sales engagement.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Marketing Support**:

- Assist in the creation, editing, and distribution of marketing materials (brochures, newsletters, social media posts, etc.).
- Help manage the company’s social media accounts by scheduling posts, responding to comments, and analyzing engagement.
- Update the website with provided content and images.
- Collaborate with the design and content on marketing collateral and promotional campaigns.
- Track and report on marketing analytics (e.g., social media metrics, campaign performance).
- Assist in organizing and coordinating marketing events.
- **Sales Support**:

- Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems.
- Support the Business Development team in lead generation activities, including research and initial outreach.
- Help track sales performance and monitor competitor activity.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with marketing, CRM tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce) and WordPress is a plus.
- A background in science or an understanding of common scientific terminology is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6-12 months

Pay: $20.00-$23.20 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Additional pay:
