**FIRST ONSITE** wants** you** to be part of our **National Estimation Team** As a **Remote Estimator**, you'll play a crucial role in **restoring properties** to their pre-disaster state while ensuring an **outstanding customer experience - internally with our project managers and externally with our insurance companies and adjusters**.

This isn't just a job-it's an opportunity to make a true **impact** on people's lives across Canada from the comfort of your own home You'll collaborate with talented teams and project managers nationally, **scope challenging projects**, and provide seamless solutions in a variety of restoration scenarios.

**A Day in the Life of a National Estimator at FIRST ONSITE**:
Your morning kicks off with** a quick check-in** on Xactimate. As an Estimator, you're the help behind the scenes-scoping and building accurate estimates that help property owners get back to their homes and lives. You'll **collaborate remotely** with Project Managers and other teammates, ensuring every estimate is detailed, accurate, and aligned with client expectations.

Your day is a mix of reviewing **photos, notes, and scopes** from ClaimTrak, tweaking estimates for compliance with **client programs**, and uploading everything smoothly into Xactanalysis. You're always on top of deadlines, so you keep a **job log** tracking completed estimates and **monitor KPI timeframes** to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

When the occasional roadblock arises-like missing documentation or a delayed approval-you **coordinate with the team**, offer **pro tips** to Project Managers, and provide feedback on how to improve estimates and processes. Your ability to **adapt, solve problems, and communicate clearly** keeps the workflow running like a well-oiled machine.

The work isn't just about numbers; it's about **balancing urgency and quality. **And since teamwork is key at FIRST ONSITE, you **stay connected, share laughs over Teams meetings**, and celebrate the small wins that help restore communities, one project at a time.

By the end of the day, you've kept everything moving toward **timely project completion**:

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- 3 years experience as a Project Manager or Estimator from the restoration industry is a MUST
- College/University Diploma/Degree or certification
- A customer service mindset with the ability to problem-solve
- MS OFFICE - Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Proficient in Xactimate is a MUST
- Strong verbal and written communications skills in English and French is a PLUS
- Strong administration skills.
