Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, professionally engaged individual to join our team as a Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR). Within this role you will be the first point of contact for our clients, the gateway to providing exceptional support and care for their beloved pets. Veterinary CSR's are instrumental in bonding clients to the practice through the ability to enjoy listening to/helping people with their pet's issues, managing stressful situations and approaching each work day in an outgoing, friendly, compassionate manner. **Duties**:

- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in an accurate, professional and timely manner with a sense of importance and urgency but not making anyone feel rushed or ignored
- Excellent phone etiquette skills
- Act as a front-line communicator between clients and the hospital
- Schedule and direct appointment flow according to the Veterinarian's plan
- Greet clients and their pets; make them feel welcome
- Collaborate with team members to ensure client/patient's needs are being met
- Maintain exemplary patient medical records, upload photos, documents, consent forms
- Follow up client communications to provide additional support and orchestrate care plan/ action item information
- Update all patient reminders
- Prepare and invoice clients
- Prepare certificates and submit records to insurance and/or other facilities
- Maintain the cleanliness of the waiting room, display items, reception desk and stockroom areas
- Provide miscellaneous support to the Veterinary Hospital Manager and Healthcare team
- Assist in patient referrals, generating callback lists for the Veterinarians
- Become familiar with all patients/clients and their intricate needs

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a customer service role is required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Compassion for pets

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week

- Customer service: 1 year (required)
- Veterinary Assistant: 2 years (preferred)
