**Position Overview**:

Operator Level 1: New production operator. Learning fermentation or downstream. Fermentation area includes development fermentation.

This position is based out of Winnipeg, MB. Must live in Canada and be legally authorized to work in Canada.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Perform process related procedures by following established Batch Records and Standard Operating Procedures under GxP
- Accurately, safely and efficiently carry out all directions/instructions given by the Shift supervisor area in the Processing area and ensure equipment is operated safely
- Generate or revise documents including: SOP’s, Change Control forms and various reports as directed
- Report promptly to the shift supervisor or lead operator, on any process or equipment problems
- Inform the shift supervisor or lead operator when they do not understand a procedure or operation
- Ensure work place and equipment is cleaned and maintained and in good order as per GxP requirements
- Keep work place and equipment cleaned and maintained and in good order as per GxP requirements. Collaborate as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes
- Perform all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance and safety requirements
- Carry out all duties effectively and proficiently, in a timely and professional manner, and with diligent attention to quality of work
- Trained operators assist in training of other production operators
- Other duties as assigned.

**Your Environment**:

- Possible overtime
- Plant environment, with walking and climbing multiple flights of stairs
- Heavy lifting and pushing/pulling of heavy loads as needed
- Use of forklifts and material handling devices

**You'll need to have**:

- Minimum High School diploma
- A college or university program certificate, or be working towards a certificate in a related field is an asset Related experience in a GxP environment as asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaborative skills
- Focused attention to detail and follow written and verbal instructions
- Takes initiative
