PRODUCTION LINE OPERATOR - WINNIPEG

Full-Time Temporary

Brett-Young Seeds Limited is a privately owned and trusted seed production, distribution, sales and marketing company with local roots since 1934 and a strong international reach. Based in Winnipeg, BrettYoung has locations throughout Western Canada and Ontario and are currently seeking a dynamic individual to work in our production area as a Production Line Operator in support our continued growth.

Production Line Operator, Full-Time Temporary with immediate start to May 2026

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to;

  • Using machinery to bag product according to specifications set out by the Supervisor
  • Dumping seed, preparing coating materials and replenishment of production line supplies
  • Cleaning and conducting change-over of processing equipment
  • Manually stacking product on pallets (lifting up to 60lbs), neatly, safely and according to the specifications set out by the Supervisor
  • Assist with yard and warehouse organization and housekeeping

Required Skills;

  • Previous experience working in a production atmosphere is preferred
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated with positive attitude and the ability to work within a team environment
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work long hours as needed
  • Proficient in spoken and written English

Applicants must have reliable transportation as we are located outside of city limits. Steel-toed safety boots are required. Contract length: 5 months

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
