We have secured an exciting long term project that requires a Construction Manager to join out Civil Earthworks Team.

**Job Overview**
We are seeking an experienced **Civil Construction Manager** to oversee and manage all aspects of civil construction projects from planning through to completion. This position will begin as a **full-time, office-based role in Saskatoon** focused on project planning, coordination, and pre-construction activities. Once the project mobilizes to site, the schedule will transition to a **2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off rotation**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organize, and manage all civil construction activities on-site.
- Lead project teams to ensure efficient execution and delivery of project milestones.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and cost controls.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality standards.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and labour to meet project requirements.
- Manage subcontractor performance and ensure work aligns with scope and specifications.
- Prepare and submit project progress reports and documentation.
- Identify and mitigate project risks or delays.
- Collaborate with engineers, superintendents, and clients to resolve issues and maintain strong working relationships.
- Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example in all field operations.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in civil construction management or a related supervisory role.
- Proven experience managing earthworks, roads, aggregate crushing or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, or similar).
- Strong commitment to safety and quality assurance.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
