**Position Overview**

We’re seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in commercial construction. You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bid submissions for renovation and tenant improvement projects.

You’ll work closely with our project management team and trade partners using modern tools and systems to ensure precision from concept to completion.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review drawings, specifications, bid requirements, and assumptions to ensure a clear understanding of project scope.
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial renovation and tenant improvement projects.
- Prepare and issue RFQs (Requests for Quotation) to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare and track RFIs (Requests for Information) during pre-construction.
- Pre-qualify vendors and subcontractors to ensure capability and compliance.
- Manage vendor and subcontractor inquiries and maintain organized correspondence.
- Assist in the preparation of contract documents and related project paperwork.
- Solicit, analyze, and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Prepare and submit professional bid packages, proposals, and scopes of work.
- Work with project managers to refine budgets and assist in pre-construction planning.
- Maintain cost databases, trade lists, and historical pricing references.
- Participate in project handoff meetings and provide estimating support during early construction stages.

**Qualifications**
- 3-5 years of experience as a construction estimator, preferably in commercial or tenant improvement projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Proficient with quantity takeoff software, project management software, and Excel (e.g., Autodesk, Contractor Foreman).
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
