Elysian Health is a growing Patient Centered, Integrated, Multi-disciplinary, full-service health clinic in South Surrey and we are looking for an experienced Laboratory Assistant.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:
Explain specimen collection process to patients ensuring that they have followed the protocol for specimen collection.

Phlebotomy

Connect/Disconnect Holter Monitors and perform ECG tracings

Prepare specimens for transportation and testing

Maintaining records

Keeping the lab clean and sanitized

Inventory, checking supplies and re-stocking

Ordering

Training will be provided for Visual, Audiometry, Peak flow and DNA testing

Preparing and following Diagnostic Accreditation processes

**Requirements: Education, Training, and Experience**

Certified Phlebotomist

Completion of a recognized Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent related experience.

At least 2 years experience

**Requirements: Skills and Abilities**

Ability to maintain the strictest standards of patient privacy and confidentiality

Proficient with Word Processing Programs and Electronic Medical Records

Excellent attention to detail.

Can work well independently and with a multidisciplinary team.

Works in an organized manner.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Effective decision-making skills and problem-solving abilities.

Is punctual, reliable, and professional.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-35 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour

- Day shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks and sanitizing is mandatory and Covid cleaning standards are strictly followed.
