**About the Role**

Talisker Resources is seeking a **Junior Environmental Technician** to support the Environmental team at the Bralorne Mine. Reporting to the Environmental Superintendent, this role will assist with field sampling, environmental monitoring, and maintaining accurate environmental data and records.

**Responsibilities**
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to health & safety and teamwork.
- Assist with environmental fieldwork including water, soil, vegetation, and wildlife sampling.
- Operate, inspect, calibrate, and maintain environmental field equipment (e.g., YSI water quality meters, water level dataloggers).
- Collect, record, and manage environmental data for internal reporting and external databases.
- Prepare data to support quarterly environmental reporting.
- Complete Chain of Custody (COC) documentation and coordinate sample shipment.
- Use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SharePoint/Teams for data tracking, inventory management, ordering supplies, and field preparation.
- Communicate effectively with internal team members, consultants, and contractors.
- Work independently in the field, including semi-remote locations and year-round conditions.
- Support environmental field programs, contractors, and perform additional duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- College diploma or university degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Technology, or related field (environmental field courses or certifications considered an asset).
- Minimum 1 year of environmental fieldwork experience, including data collection, organization, and implementation of field programs.
- Knowledge of and experience with the BC Field Sampling Manual.
- Strong commitment to health & safety and a team-oriented work style.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with experience in data management.
- Strong organizational, planning, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Comfortable working outdoors in adverse weather conditions and in semi-remote locations.
- Comfortable operating side-by-side vehicles and/or work trucks.
- Safety certifications such as First Aid, Working Near Water, and Wildlife Awareness (Bear Aware) are considered assets; willingness to obtain required training.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Eligible to work in Canada.

**Working Conditions**:

- Primarily field, site based. 14 days on/14 days off (10 hours per day).
- Exposure to outdoor environments, including variable weather and remote mine sites.
- Extended hours or weekend work may be required to meet operational demands.
